Hollow seals for static applications

Static seals are silicone tubes of different hollow sections which use their elasticity to provide the needed sealing effect. The tube is mechanically compressed between the surfaces and adheres by sealing the whole system.

The standard compound is a silicone rubber suitable for continuous exposure to water vapor and complies to the norm FDA CFR 21 parts 170-199 Item 177.2600. Its standard colour is red, but with a minimum order quantity it can be provided in other different colors.

The shapes and the profiles are manufactured according to customer’s specifications (round, squared, with or without retaining base) and can vary from very small to big dimensions. These seals can be delivered split or vulcanized.

The joint will be processed on a grinding machine to ensure a top quality surface of the tube.
